Job summary

Elanco in Clinton, IN is seeking a Manufacturing Scientist/Engineer for the Tech Services Manufacturing Sciences (TSMS) team. You will provide technical and analytical support to manufacturing processes and help ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

You should have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 1–2 years of lab, manufacturing, or internship experience; understanding of GMP is a plus, and you will collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field (Biochemistry, Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biophysical Chemistry, Microbiology, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or related).
• Minimum 1–2 years of laboratory, manufacturing, or internship experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with effective written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for manufacturing operations, including process troubleshooting, investigations, and deviation support.
• Support analytical testing, in-process controls, or final product release activities.
• Develop and implement process improvements using data analysis and statistical monitoring.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation (reports, change controls, protocols, deviations, and regulatory support materials).
• Partner cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and development teams to deliver TSMS objectives.
