Job summary

Elanco is seeking a Senior Technical Services / Manufacturing Sciences Associate in Indianapolis, IN, on-site. You will join the TS/MS team to advance lifecycle management, bioanalytical method optimization, and method transfers to global QC laboratories.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in microbiology, biochemistry, biotechnology or related field plus 2+ years in bioanalytical lab work, with ELISA and qPCR experience, aseptic technique, and strong JMP data analysis skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or related field.
• At least 2 years of industry experience in bioanalytical techniques, cell culture, microbiology, or virology.
• Hands-on aseptic technique and cell culture experience; strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize ELISA- and qPCR-based assays for antigen quantification and support manufacturing site investigations.
• Design and execute experiments, perform root cause investigations for assay deviations, document findings in ELNs.
• Identify process improvements via data analysis, collaborating with scientists to prepare reports.
• Collaborate with TS/MS, Quality Control, and global sites to enable method validations and transfers.
• Ensure lab work complies with development quality standards, regulations, and HSE.
