Job summary

You will develop, implement, and continually improve safety policies and training to protect employees and assets. The role requires a degreed safety professional with OSHA expertise, audit and investigation experience, strong communication, and the ability to influence leadership toward a proactive safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (OHS, EHS, Eng)
• 5+ years safety management in manufacturing
• OSHA and related safety standards knowledge
• Experience with audits, risk assessments, incident investigations
• Ability to train and influence across all levels
• Excellent report writing and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead OSHA reporting of injuries and responses
• Conduct safety audits, site inspections, and training records audits
• Analyze safety data to identify trends and implement preventive programs
• Collaborate with HR on safety training and orientation
• Ensure permits, operations, and equipment comply with regulations
• Track employee safety training across multiple sites
• Stay current with industry best practices and safety technologies
