Job summary

Lake Cable, LLC is seeking a proactive Safety Coordinator to drive safety programs in a fast-paced manufacturing environment in Illinois. You will partner with production, maintenance, engineering and leadership to reduce risks, ensure OSHA compliance, and foster a culture of safety excellence through policies, training and incident investigations.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in industrial safety, strong leadership, and knowledge of OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, EHS, Engineering, or related field.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred or higher.
• 3+ years of safety experience in manufacturing/industrial settings.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety management principles.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate safety programs to ensure OSHA compliance and workplace safety.
• Conduct safety inspections, audits, risk assessments, and JHAs.
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain safety policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Partner with operations/engineering to implement engineering controls and safe practices.
• Deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness initiatives.
