Kraft Group LLC in Connecticut seeks an experienced safety leader to coordinate and implement health and safety programs across manufacturing operations.

You will ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations, develop training, investigate incidents and manage confidential information in line with HIPAA and company policies. The role requires strong problem solving, teamwork and a commitment to a safe workplace.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a safety leadership role, preferably in manufacturing.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Safety management and training experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Mechanical skills.
• Trouble shooting processing skills.
• Able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations.

Responsabilités

• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local safety regulations.
• Develop policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines.
• Designs safety training for all levels of employees and contractors.
• Develops and implements accident investigation, data analysis, and recurrence prevention programs and procedures.
• Conducts on-site reviews and audits of operations and facilities.
• Monitors all current information on regulations and requirements related to hazardous materials and agents.
• Responds and provides assistance to all emergency situations.
• Special projects and assignments as business dictates.
• Responsible for the maintenance, creation and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by any Confidentiality or Privacy Standards or Company Policies that you have access or knowledge of, including but not limited to any state or federal regulations including HIPPA.
