Job summary

Klöckner Pentaplast Europe GmbH & Co. KG in Rural Retreat, Virginia is seeking a proactive Health and Safety Manager to lead safety initiatives across our manufacturing facility.

You will drive a strong safety culture, ensure OSHA compliance, train staff, and implement programs that protect employees and promote a safe, healthy, accident-free workplace while supporting sustainability goals. This hands-on role requires collaboration across all levels, travel to other Klöckner Pentaplast sites,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent.
• 5–7 years of manufacturing safety experience.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Experience in safety program implementation and training.
• Proven leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to travel overnight to other facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead safety initiatives across the Rural Retreat facility.
• Manage OSHA compliance and risk assessments.
• Train managers and employees on safety practices.
• Plan and implement injury and incident investigations.
• Chair site Safety Team meetings and coordinate with Corporate Team.
• Inspect facilities for hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Provide safety information, signs, barriers to warn hazards.
• Represent kp in safety groups and programs.
• Drive sustainability and circularity initiatives.
• Perform other assignments to ensure value in products and services.
