Job summary

Amsted Automotive Group is seeking a Manufacturing Reliability & Process Manager in Shelby Township, MI. You will lead maintenance strategy, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement to maximize production efficiency.

This role covers preventative and predictive maintenance, machine-level MES ownership, and future predictive maintenance implementations. You will mentor maintenance leaders, manage multi-year maintenance schedules, and drive lean practices across facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Industrial or Manufacturing or work-related equivalent.
• Eight to ten years in Engineering or maintenance in automotive manufacturing.
• Experience with machine programming, integration of machine logic, and operator interface.
• Experience with Total Predictive Maintenance systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the business unit in maintenance best practices, strategy, policies, processes, and procedures to improve operational performance.
• Develop and execute corrective, preventive, predictive, and TPM activities.
• Mentor and develop maintenance leaders across facilities.
• Create a Planned Preventative Maintenance schedule for large projects and ensure adherence to maintenance activities.
• Manage capital project budgets, proposals, scheduling, delivery and installation.
• Prioritize maintenance and repairs; conduct root cause analysis and problem-solving.
• Drive use of E-Maint to document issues and plan predictive maintenance.
• Support MES activities by owning machine-level connectivity and data output.
• Develop engineered solutions to repetitive equipment failures and assist with new equipment start-up.
