General Motors in Detroit, MI is seeking a Maintenance Group Leader to guide a skilled hourly team in troubleshooting and repair of complex equipment. This role enforces UAW agreements, applies SPQRCE principles, and leads safety, quality, and cost initiatives in a heavy manufacturing setting.

You will coach teams, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with TA1 requirements while reporting to local leadership.

Qualificações

• Minimum 1 year of direct team supervisory experience or 5 months as GM per diem group lead.
• Ability to solve complex problems in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and conflict resolution ability.
• Experience managing people and addressing performance concerns.
• High analytical ability to drive improvements.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze and adjust daily manufacturing plans and manage manpower to maintain production flow.
• Lead multiple tasks, drive accountability through processes, and navigate ambiguity.
• Apply Lean practices to reduce waste and improve Safety, Quality, Throughput, and Cost.
• Enforce quality processes with customer safety at the center, resolve build discrepancies.
• Coach and mentor team members and conduct disciplinary conversations when needed.
• Locate and analyze operational data to support continuous improvement.
