Job summary

Aegis Worldwide is seeking a motivated Recruiter to own full-cycle recruitment across multiple departments and shifts in a thriving manufacturing environment in Machesney Park, IL. This high-volume role emphasizes hourly manufacturing and skilled trades, with some professional and salaried hiring.

You'll partner with hiring managers, craft sourcing strategies, conduct interviews, and guide candidates through onboarding, while spending time on the production floor to understand roles and needs.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
• Experience recruiting for high-volume hourly, manufacturing, industrial, or skilled trades.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage multiple open positions in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to spend time on the production floor.
• Experience with ATS, Microsoft Office, and social media recruiting tools.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for hourly production, skilled trades, technical, and salaried positions.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies through job boards, social media, employee referrals, staffing agencies, and other recruiting channels.
• Recruit for a variety of positions, including welders, assemblers, painters, equipment operators, engineers, and administrative professionals.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand position requirements, shift needs, qualifications, and hiring priorities.
• Conduct candidate outreach, phone screens, interviews, and coordinate skills assessments.
• Manage the hiring process, including background checks, drug screens, offer extensions, and onboarding.
• Build relationships with local high schools, technical colleges, workforce development organizations, and community partners to develop future talent pipelines.
• Represent the organization at career fairs, recruiting events, and community outreach initiatives.
• Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity within the applicant tracking system.
• Track recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, source of hire, offer acceptance, and new-hire retention.
• Conduct new-hire follow-ups and 30/60/90-day check-ins to support employee engagement and retention.
