Job summary

Virginia Transformer is seeking a Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Specialist to support hiring across the United States and India. You will source candidates, conduct initial screenings, coordinate interviews, and maintain ATS records, partnering with hiring managers and HR teams.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, responsive, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, delivering a strong candidate and hiring manager experience across regions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years recruiting and interview calendaring/coordination experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with candidates, hiring managers, and HR professionals.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage multiple open positions, candidates, interviews, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Utilize multiple recruiting channels to identify qualified candidates.
• Review resumes and applications to assess qualifications and fit.
• Conduct initial phone screenings to evaluate skills and experience.
• Coordinate and calendar candidate interviews with hiring managers.
• Follow up with interviewers and collect feedback on candidate suitability.
• Maintain accurate candidate records in the ATS.
• Generate daily recruiting reports to track pipelines and progress.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for candidates and communicate about opportunities and processes.
• Collaborate with HR and hiring managers in the United States and India to plan staffing needs.
• Provide a positive, professional candidate experience throughout the process.
• Support additional recruiting and HR activities as needed.
