Job summary

Turner Construction Co. in Decatur, AL is seeking an experienced project manager to oversee manufacturing quality programs from concept through production.

You will review compliance, monitor vendor performance, and ensure alignment with client and xPL process expectations. The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering or Manufacturing with at least 5 years in manufacturing or a similar role, strong analytical and communication skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field with 5+ years in manufacturing production or similar.
• Strong critical thinking and analysis for decision-making and problem-solving.
• Effective listening and communication (verbal and written).
• Project management experience with organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel regularly.

Responsibilities

• Qualify vendors and review manufacturers' processes and docs; provide feedback and recommendations.
• Lead quality reviews to improve manufacturer performance and remove non-performing vendors.
• Maintain collaborative relationships with manufacturing and production partners across projects.
• Research potential partners and assess future relationships for programs.
• Oversee MRPs and performance; collect data from partners for inventory and orders.
• Review production data outputs for efficiency, cost, and quality.
• Document partner production processes and prepare progress reports for reviews.
• Lead root cause analyses and propose corrective/preventive actions.
• Assess risks in product quality and supply chain; develop mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with EHS regulations and company policies.
