Job summary

PSG, a Dover company in Grand Rapids, Michigan, is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Manager to direct the QMS and lead continuous improvement across the plant.

You will oversee quality control/assurance staff, ensure ISO compliance, drive root cause analysis, and collaborate with Supply Chain, Finance, HR, Engineering, Product Management, Sales and Marketing to deliver Zero-Defect outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in business or engineering.
• Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
• MBA or master's in engineering preferred.
• Certified Quality Engineer and/or Manager (ASQC CQE, CQM) highly desirable.
• Customer management, supplier development and budgeting experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage quality systems and procedures for the business.
• Validate controlled shop floor documentation to assist operators in manufacture, assembly and shipping.
• Partner with manufacturing leaders to assess process effectiveness.
• Participate in New Product Introduction and Plant Readiness for launches.
• Maintain ISO 9000 compliance and lead internal quality audits.
