Job summary

Peninsula Plastics is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to lead our quality assurance operations in Auburn Hills, MI. You will oversee the QMS, drive continuous improvement, and maintain GMP, QOS, SOPs, and ISO/IATF readiness.

The ideal candidate will supervise a team of Quality Auditors, train staff, and collaborate with production and engineering to resolve quality issues on the floor, ensuring products meet customer specifications and manufacturing excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience leading quality management in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of QMS, ISO and audit requirements.
• Proven ability to implement corrective actions and preventive measures.
• Hands-on, floor-based leader who trains and mentors staff.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, maintain, and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, QOS, SOPs, and customer requirements.
• Lead audits of operations and drive CAPA to address issues.
• Supervise and develop a team of Quality Auditors across shifts.
• Provide hands-on quality support on the production floor.
• Lead ISO and IATF audit preparations and documentation improvements.
