Job summary

Tenneco is seeking a Quality Manager to lead manufacturing quality at the site, aligning plant goals with Quality requirements and enterprise-wide standards. You will apply your technical and operational knowledge to ensure products meet customer quality standards.

The role requires proven experience in leading a quality function within manufacturing, strong strategic communication, and a proactive approach to drive improvements and supplier quality management.

Qualifications

• Min 3–5 years of experience leading a quality function in a manufacturing environment.
• Strategic vision and communication skills related to Quality Manufacturing Systems engagement.
• Proven experience pursuing operational excellence within Quality Management.
• Ownership mindset with a proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Acts as the Champion of the quality function and drives the business to meet or exceed its quality goals.
• Drives compliance with the Quality Management System & necessary industry certifications (IATF) in line with company objectives.
• Supervises and directs the activities of the Quality Assurance Department, including budgets and regular audits.
• Interacts with customers concerning plant certification, complaints, corrective action, and follow-up.
• Implements procedures for inspection of incoming raw materials and components and reviews quality problems with vendors.
• Training and mentoring staff on quality standards, processes, and procedures.
