Tenneco Inc. in Tennessee is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the site’s quality function, aligning manufacturing goals with customer requirements and enterprise standards.

You will champion the Quality Management System, drive continuous improvement, mentor staff, and ensure supplier and process quality through audits and corrective actions.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of leadership experience in manufacturing quality, with a proactive, ownership mindset.

• Acts as the Champion of the quality function and drives the business to meet or exceed its quality goals.
• Drives compliance with the Quality Management System & necessary industry certifications (IATF) in line with Tenneco’s global quality objectives, ensuring that businesses/manufacturing processes and metrics are aligned to create high product quality and maintains our competitive advantage.
• Supervises and directs the activities of the Quality Assurance Department, including establishing and operating within department budgets and regularly auditing quality processes.
• Interacts with customers concerning plant certification, complaints, corrective action required from either and provides appropriate follow up.
• Implements procedures for inspection of incoming raw materials and components and review quality problems with vendors. Provides supplier surveillance assistance as required.
• Training and mentoring staff on quality standards, processes, and procedures.
