The Quality Manager at Tenneco Inc. leads site quality leadership, aligning manufacturing goals with customer standards and enterprise-wide quality directives.

You will drive the Quality Management System, supervise QA staff, and collaborate with suppliers and customers to ensure superior product quality and continuous improvement. We expect 3–5 years of leadership in manufacturing quality, a Bachelor’s degree, and a proactive, data-driven approach to problem solving.

Qualifications

• Leads quality function in a manufacturing setting.
• Drives compliance with Quality Management System and IATF certifications.
• Manages QA department budgets and audits quality processes.
• Interacts with customers on certification and corrective actions.
• Mentors staff on quality standards and procedures.

Responsabilités

• Acts as the Champion of the quality function and drives the business to meet or exceed its quality goals.
• Drives compliance with the Quality Management System & necessary industry certifiactions (IATF) in line with Tenneco’s global quality objectives, ensuring that businesses/manufacturing processes and metrics are aligned to create high product quality and maintains our competitive advantage.
• Supervises and directs the activities of the Quality Assurance Department, including establishing and operating within department budgets and regularly auditing quality processes.
• Interacts with customers concerning plant certification, complaints, corrective action required from either and provides appropriate follow up.
• Implements procedures for inspection of incoming raw materials and components and review quality problems with vendors. Provides supplier surveillance assistance as required.
• Training and mentoring staff on quality standards, processes, and procedures.
