Zusammenfassung

Tenneco Inc. is seeking a Quality Supervisor to support the QMS and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing processes. You will coordinate audits, lead corrective actions, and mentor teams to enhance product quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include implementing APQP/PPAP, managing SPC and DOE initiatives, and serving as a liaison with customers and external auditors. Occasional travel is required; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus depending on location.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, or a related field or equivalent experience.
• 4–6 years of experience in automotive quality, preferably in manufacturing.
• ASQ CQE and/or CQA certification preferred.
• Direct experience with IATF 16949 including PPAP, APQP, FMEA and related processes.
• Strong knowledge of SPC, DOE and GD&T.
• Excellent problem-solving skills including 8-D methodology.
• Experience with internal and external audits.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and quality data analysis software.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred depending on facility location.
• Ability to travel 10–15%.

Aufgaben

• Lead and coordinate systematic problem-solving to reduce scrap and improve product quality.
• Provide training in QMS tools and methodologies (APQP, BOS, SPC, MSA/Gage R&R, DOE).
• Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 9001; coordinate audits and lead corrective actions.
• Serve as liaison for external certification bodies and drive audit readiness.
• Perform risk assessments for design/quality issues and report KPIs to leadership.
• Oversee Gage and Metrology functions; manage calibration and CMM activities.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and safety/quality performance.
• Travel as needed (10–15%).
