Job summary

Graham Packaging in Modesto, CA is seeking a Quality Manager to oversee the plant's quality program across production, quality control, and logistics. You will enforce GMP, safety, and customer requirements, lead corrective actions, and collaborate with engineering, sales and service teams to maintain compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in quality, at least five years in a manufacturing quality leadership position, and strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in quality.
• At least five years in a quality supervisory/management role in manufacturing.
• Strong communication and leadership skills are essential.
• Ability to interact with managers, vendors, and customers.

Responsibilities

• Understand, follows, and enforces safety, health, quality GMP policies and company procedures.
• Interpret customer requirements and convert them into manufacturing specifications.
• Manage internal and external quality relationships with suppliers and customers.
• Define, implement, and monitor systems to ensure GMP compliance, certifications, sanitation, and audits.
• Lead corrective actions, track complaints, and verify effectiveness of improvements.
• Train and direct daily activities of the plant quality staff.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Sales, and Customer Service as needed.
• Occasional travel up to 25%.
