Job summary

Graham Packaging is seeking a Quality Manager to oversee the plant's quality program across production and logistics. This role includes managing supplier, customer, and regulatory relationships, enforcing GMPs and quality controls, and driving continuous improvement in collaboration with engineering, sales, and customer service teams.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in quality or equivalent experience and at least five years in a quality supervisory role within manufacturing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or related quality experience, or equivalent.
  • Minimum five years in quality supervisory or management in manufacturing with demonstrated leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and enforce safety, health, quality GMPs, and company policies.
  • Oversee internal/external quality systems and corrective actions.
  • Interact with customers, suppliers, and regulators on quality requirements.
  • Develop and monitor process controls and inspection methods to prevent defects.
  • Communicate quality performance to management and staff regularly.
  • Hire, train, and direct the quality team; ensure continuous improvement.

aryQuality Managers are responsible for the administration and management of all aspects of the plant’s quality program for all containers working through the plant quality, production, and logistics personnel. The responsibility includes management of internal / external relationships relative to quality (including supplier, customer, and regulatory compliance), management of internal quality control systems, process critical control points, and quality performance improvement and awareness. As a member of the Plant’s management team the Quality Assurance Manager also has shared responsibility for overall Plant operations, especially safety and efficiency.
