Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or related quality experience required.
• Minimum five years’ experience in a quality supervisory/management role in manufacturing.
• Demonstrated leadership skills strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow and enforce safety, health, quality GMP and company policies.
• Define and interpret customer requirements and translate into manufacturing processes.
• Customer complaint response and tracking; verify corrective actions.
• Define, implement and monitor systems to ensure compliance (GMPs, certifications, sanitation, audits).
• Collaborate with Engineering, Sales and Customer Service to fulfill responsibilities.
• Work with suppliers to define requirements and ensure conformance.
• Develop operating procedures and controls for inspection devices.
• Develop, train, implement and monitor process control points and improvements to eliminate defects.
• Communicate customer issues and overall quality performance to management and staff.
• Hire, train and direct daily plant quality staff.
• Continuously evaluate procedures for safety and efficiency.
• May be responsible for special projects in other areas; 0-25% travel.
