Job summary

McKinstry in Spokane, WA is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Engineer to join the Offsite Manufacturing division. You will apply engineering methods to support quality assurance, validate processes, and resolve non-conformances at a tactical level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of PFMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP, and GD&T.
• Experience with ISO 9001, ASME, AWS, UL, ICC-ES.
• Proficiency with ERP/MES platforms and quality software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain inspection and test plans (ITPs) / Quality Control Plans (QCPs) for new and existing products.
• Support SPC and measurement system analysis (MSA).
• Lead containment, root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions (CAPA).
• Collaborate with production and engineering to improve processes and reduce defects.
• Assist with supplier quality including audits and corrective actions.
