Job summary

McKinstry in Spokane, WA is seeking a Quality Inspector to join our Manufacturing team. You will perform dimensional, mechanical, and visual inspections on raw materials, in-process components, and finished modular units, ensuring conformance to drawings and quality standards.

The role collaborates with production, engineers, and program managers to resolve issues, maintain records in the QMS, support customer submittals, and promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in quality inspection within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical drawings and technical specifications.
• Proficient with precision measurement tools and inspection equipment.
• Experience with QMS software and ERP systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional, mechanical, and visual inspections on raw materials, in-process components, and finished modular units.
• Verify conformance to engineering drawings and quality standards using precision instruments.
• Maintain inspection records and support NCRs and quality documentation.
• Collaborate with production, engineers, and program managers to resolve issues at the source.
