Job summary

First Solar is seeking a Quality Assurance support role within our manufacturing environment. The position requires auditing standard work, in-process and finished products, with data analysis for trends and process capability.

You will collaborate with supervisors and engineers to implement corrective actions and training to reduce scrap. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in manufacturing QA, ISO 9001 experience, and ASQ certifications.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment with QA involvement.
• Experience with ISO 9001 Internal Audit Procedures and SPC.
• ASQ Certification (CMI, CPT, CQA) desired.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials and finished products and provide feedback to Engineering/Manufacturing for corrective actions.
• Maintain Quality Control Procedures and ISO-compliant records.
• Train personnel on quality programs and perform internal audits on schedule.
• Define and implement corrective/preventive actions and continuous improvement activities.
• Interface with other departments and supplier representatives.
