Job summary

First Solar is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to support manufacturing through audits of standard work, in-process and finished goods. You will collect data, analyze trends, and work with supervisors and engineers to implement corrective actions and reduce scrap.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing, experience with ISO 9001 and internal audits, and ASQ credentials are a plus. A 2-year technical degree is required, with a BS degree highly desired.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in manufacturing quality
• 2 years with ISO Quality System incl. Internal Audits
• ASQ cert (CMI, CPT, CQA) desired
• 2-year technical degree
• 4-year BS degree highly desired

Responsibilities

• Complete assignments with minimal supervision.
• Inspect incoming materials and outgoing products and provide feedback for corrective/preventive action.
• Maintain Quality Control Procedures and ISO records.
• Conduct internal audits per schedule and document findings.
• Train personnel on various quality programs.
• Define and implement corrective/preventive actions and continuous improvement.
• Communicate effectively across departments and with suppliers.
• Adhere to safety procedures and housekeeping standards.
