Job summary

First Solar Inc. seeks a Quality Assurance professional to support manufacturing by performing quality audits of standard work, in-process and finished products, and incoming parts. You will collect and analyze data for trends, drive corrective actions with production and engineering, and contribute to scrap reduction.

The role requires 5+ years in manufacturing, ISO quality system experience, and ASQ certifications preferred. A two-year technical degree is required, with a BS highly desired.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ or more experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 2 years’ experience with an ISO Quality System incl. Internal Audits, SPC, JMP Data Analytics.
• ASQ Certification (CMI, CPT, CQA) desired.
• 2-year Technical Degree.
• 4-year B.S. degree highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming materials and outgoing product and provide feedback for corrective actions.
• Maintain Quality Control Procedures and ISO records per Company Policy.
• Complete internal audits per defined schedule and document findings.
• Train personnel on various quality programs.
• Define and implement corrective/preventive actions and continuous improvement.
