Job summary

Novae is a leading trailer manufacturer in North America. We are seeking a Purchasing professional to acquire required materials and services to support manufacturing outputs and projects.

You will manage supplier relationships, verify requisitions, and drive inventory control improvements while collaborating with operations and the Regional Purchasing Manager to ensure cost-effective procurement and timely deliveries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or related field; or equivalent demonstrated skills and experience.
• Experience in purchasing within manufacturing; RV or trailer manufacturing preferred.
• APICS certification desired, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Review requests; communicate with suppliers and operations managers; examine prices, suitability, and availability of items or services; compare specifications and review alternatives.
• Verify purchase requisitions by comparing items requested to master list; clarify unclear items; recommend alternatives.
• Drive continuous improvement to create inventory systems to control costs.
• Provide purchasing planning and controls information by collecting, analyzing, and reporting data and trends to Regional Purchasing Manager.
• Manage inventory accuracy using a cycle count program.
• Forward available inventory items by verifying stock and scheduling deliveries.
• Prepare purchase orders by verifying specifications and price; obtain recommendations from suppliers for substitutes; verify receipt of items and authorize payment.
