The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, understands quality control processes, and can troubleshoot issues while training staff and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent; quality processes preferred.
• Knowledge of trailer manufacturing and quality standards.
• Ability to read work orders and complete paperwork accurately.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for benchmarking.

Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials, parts, in-process and finished trailers for compliance with specifications.
• Adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, and quality policies.
• Provide confirmation of repairs for identified quality defects.
• Record inspection data and maintain documentation for checks performed.
• Prepare and submit quality reports and non-conformance documentation.
• Analyze data to identify trends and inform decisions.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering and Purchasing on root-cause analyses and corrective actions.
• Train operators and production personnel on quality-related matters.
