Job summary

LeoForce in Sumter, SC is seeking an experienced Permanent Project Manager to lead complex manufacturing projects from initiation to delivery. You will drive cross‑functional teams, implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies, and ensure projects meet quality, schedule, and budget targets.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in project management within manufacturing, a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in project management within the Manufacturing industry.
• Proven experience in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• PMP certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage end-to-end project plans in the manufacturing sector, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
• Develop comprehensive project strategies, including risk management and quality control plans.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to improve efficiency and reduce waste in the production process.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all elements of the project are in sync and progressing as planned.
• Drive the product development process, ensuring that all products meet quality standards and customer requirements.
• Provide leadership and direction to project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Monitor project progress, resolving any issues that arise, and implementing necessary changes.
• Communicate project status, issues, and risks to all stakeholders, including senior management.
• Continuously improve project management tools and processes to increase team efficiency and effectiveness.
