Job summary

LeoForce is seeking a Lean Manufacturing Engineer to strengthen manufacturing operations in PA. The role is ~80% Manufacturing Engineering and 20% Lean/CI, focusing on process improvements, waste reduction, and measurable results on the production floor.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering with 5+ years of experience and strong Lean tool proficiency (5S, Kaizen, VSM, Standard Work). SAP and MS Office experience is required; Six Sigma is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Hands-on Lean/CI experience.
  • Proficiency with Lean tools: 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
  • Experience with SAP and MS Office.
  • Strong analytical and project management skills.
  • Six Sigma certification or related experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support operations through process development and continuous improvements.
  • Design and improve methods, tooling, cells, and layouts.
  • Develop work instructions and process documentation.
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, Materials to improve efficiency.
  • Lead Lean/CI initiatives using 5S, Kaizen, and value stream mapping.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and waste elimination.
  • Lead cross-functional projects from concept to implementation.
