Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. seeks a detail-oriented Project Manager to lead production projects from pre-booking through final acceptance. You will build and guide cross-functional teams, plan schedules, monitor progress, control costs, and ensure customer satisfaction while meeting contract objectives.

Requirements include a BS in electrical engineering, 3+ years in manufacturing PM, 3+ years in electrical roles, strong communication, PMP preferred, and ability to pass checks.

Qualifications

• BA or BS in electrical engineering preferred
• Two years or more of experience in project management in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Three plus years of experience in an electrical role or industry required
• Three plus years of experience in project management in a manufacturing environment required
• Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills required
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal required
• Growth mindset with the ability to accept challenges required
• Ability to pass physical, drug, driving, and background check required
• Ability to physically push, pull, and lift 50lbs or more required
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for four plus hours at a time required
• Alignment with company core values required
• PMP preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects from pre-booking to customer final acceptance
• Plan, schedule, design, procurement, manufacturing, integration, testing, shipping, and handoff to customer
• Manage and maintain responsibility for all details of each assigned project
• Ensure projects meet objectives by controlling cost and scope
• Act as primary customer contact to maintain relationships and drive satisfaction
• Provide consultation on proposal development as required
• Participate in internal kick-off meetings from sales to organization
• Initiate and lead customer kick-off meetings
• Communicate specification requirements to the team
• Allocate project resources based on commitments
• Develop and manage the project with input from departments
• Conduct project meetings with internal staff and customer
• Follow document management for compliance
• Manage scope and deliverables from vendors/subcontractors
• Validate terms and commercial viability using quotes as baseline
• Present project status at production meetings as required
• Establish and purchase a Bill of Material to be furnished by PBS
• Ensure status reporting to the customer
• Prepare contractual invoicing and pursue payments
• Obtain formal acceptance from Customer for deliverables
• Authorize and approve all project shipments
• Ensure completion of project closeout activities
• Accountable for commercial success, customer satisfaction, and delivery
