Job summary

Accelera is seeking a Project Engineer in Antioch, Illinois, to contribute from concept through prototype to production across multiple product lines. You will collaborate with Maintenance and other teams to optimize processes and reduce scrap and downtime.

Responsibilities include managing factory automation projects, developing and maintaining drawings and project documents, and coordinating standardization and control. You will also perform capacity analysis and advise on new equipment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Solid experience with SolidWorks 2D/3D CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to ensure most efficient processes and operating systems in order to minimize scrap/material usage and downtime by working with Maintenance and other teams.
• Participate in project management of factory automation projects and changes to processes/equipment.
• Generate/maintain product drawings and project documents, along with coordinate activities around standardization, documentation and control.
• Perform capacity analysis and recommend need for new equipment.
