Job summary

Accelera is seeking an Industrial Controls and Robotics Engineer to lead optimization of automated manufacturing processes. You will drive reliability and performance of robotics, PLC, and vision-based control systems across high-speed production lines.

You will engineer, program, troubleshoot, and document control architectures, collaborate with production and maintenance teams, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and oversee commissioning of new machinery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience maintaining and programming industrial automation in a production setting.
• Advanced PLC and HMI logic development and robotic system integration.
• Deep understanding of industrial electrical controls and interpreting complex schematics.
• Proven analytical problem-solving in high-pressure manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Engineer, program, and refine automated control architectures to maximize uptime and throughput.
• Troubleshoot electrical and automation systems to minimize downtime and bottlenecks.
• Lead root cause analysis to implement permanent corrective solutions for recurring failures.
• Oversee integration, commissioning, and launch of new high-speed manufacturing machinery.
• Standardize automation documentation and electrical schematics for long-term maintainability.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams on continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure automated systems meet safety standards and regulatory compliance.
