Job summary

Accelera is seeking a Precision Manual Machinist to join our production team, focusing on prototyping and complex R&D projects. You will transform designs into finished components on mills and lathes, ensuring dimensional accuracy and high-quality standards.

You will interpret blueprints, operate manual equipment, collaborate with engineering to refine designs, and maintain shop floor organization. A valid high school diploma and physical stamina are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in manual machining of steel, aluminum and stainless steel.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed blueprints and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and sustain long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Execute precise manual machining operations using mills and lathes to support R&D and prototyping initiatives.
• Interpret blueprints and drawings to ensure dimensional accuracy of parts.
• Operate and maintain manual vertical mills, engine lathes, and surface grinders.
• Collaborate with engineering to refine designs through prototyping and reverse engineering.
