Job summary

MilliporeSigma is seeking an engineer to bridge the Engineering team and Life Science business, delivering strategic and tactical projects within manufacturing.

You will own continuous improvement of production processes, targeting efficiency, quality, and performance, and provide hands-on troubleshooting and guidance for manufacturing changes.

Additionally, you will support capital projects up to $2MM, manage stakeholders and execute plans through handoff, ensuring safe, compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related Life Science/Engineering field.
• 3+ years of technical experience.

Responsibilities

• Bridge between Engineering team and Millipore Sigma Life Science business to execute strategic and tactical projects.
• Own the continuous improvement of production processes targeting gains in efficiency, quality and performance.
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting and technical guidance for manufacturing issues or process changes.
• Support execution of Capital Projects upto $2MM, using Project Management principles.
• Develop a solution/plan for Stakeholders and execute the plan through operational handoff.
• Understand budgeting, purchasing and forecasting, Capital vs. Expense.
• Focus on sustainable solutions to prevent recurrence and ensure a stable manufacturing environment.
• Conduct process analysis and develop solutions for optimal performance and integration of new technologies.
