Job summary

Millipore Sigma is seeking a skilled professional to perform multi-disciplined processes, assays, and unit operations in a manufacturing setting. Responsibilities include supporting equipment, materials analysis, and training personnel while acting as a technical consultant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in relevant field with 2+ years (Bachelor) / 1+ years (Master) / PhD level experience.
• Experience with lab instruments, production equipment, process techniques and analytics.
• Strong communication, computer, mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills; ISO Quality standards experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-disciplined, complex and established processes, assays and/or unit operations, primarily those requiring a higher level of skill and knowledge.
• Support manufacturing area operations (e.g., maintain equipment, analyze materials, restock lab supplies, waste disposal). Train personnel and act as technical consultant.
• Participate in quality audits and interface with external customers.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting using technical knowledge and theory.
