Job summary

MilliporeSigma in St. Louis, MO seeks an engineer to assist in the research and troubleshooting of defective products to identify potential root-cause failures. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3 years of engineering experience are required.
• Master's degree and 3 years in process engineering are preferred.
• Ability to lead cross-functional meetings with R&D, Engineering, and Operations.

Responsibilities

• Identify key process parameters, define their impact on product quality, and subsequently develop and modify formulations, methods and controls to meet quality specifications
• Utilize processing insights to recommend and implement improvements, modifications, or additions to document work
• Support the maintenance of production records and documents
• As you grow in your position, manufacturing supervisory duties may be included
• As the facility is highly team-oriented, the opportunity exists to attend cross-functional meetings with R&D, Engineering, and Operations teams
• You will work with outside contractors and other vendors to manage changes to site automation systems
• In this role you will maintain and adhere to project timelines/schedule and cost
