Job summary

MilliporeSigma is seeking a Project Engineer to oversee project engineering activities across the site, including the laboratory, distribution center, chemical packaging, and administrative areas. You will manage timelines and communicate with staff, cross-functional stakeholders, clients, suppliers, and external regulatory representatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or other engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of work experience in plant engineering.

Responsibilities

• Oversee capital projects of up to $2MM from initiation to closeout.
• Coordinate construction projects of up to 75 tradesmen.
• Support site deviations (events), CAPAs, and change controls.
• Complete, review, and/or approve site risk assessments.
• Create and manage schedules, manage subcontractors and internal support functions for all engineering activities.
• Coordinate construction projects of subcontracted tradesmen.
• Report project status to management with focus on safety, budget, schedule, scope and risks.
