Job summary

MilliporeSigma is hiring to improve production processes and drive efficiency across manufacturing lines. The role connects Engineering with our Life Science business to deliver strategic and tactical projects, troubleshoot daily issues, and guide capital initiatives up to $2MM.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in chemistry or engineering and has 3+ years of technical experience, with Lean Six Sigma experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or other Life Science or Engineering discipline.
• 3+ years of technical experience.
• Experience with Lean Six Sigma is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a bridge between Engineering and Life Science business to execute strategic and tactical projects.
• Own continuous improvement of production processes to boost efficiency, quality, and performance.
• Provide hands-on troubleshooting and technical guidance for manufacturing issues or process changes.
• Support Capital Projects up to $2MM using Project Management principles.
• Develop and execute plans for stakeholders with cross-functional teams.
• Understand budgeting, purchasing, forecasting, and capital vs. expense decisions.
• Implement sustainable solutions to prevent recurrence and maintain a stable manufacturing environment.
