Job summary

Rehlko in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, is seeking a Project Manufacturing Engineer to drive safety, quality, on-time delivery, cost reductions, and continuous improvement. You will mentor technicians and collaborate with design engineering to ensure smooth transitions from design to production.

The role requires a BS in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering, 2+ years of related experience, strong problem-solving, and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or related technical field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience (Co-Op, Internship, or related).
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification and/or experience with continuous improvement or quality systems preferred.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods; PPE as required.

Responsibilities

• Drive production performance by ensuring efficient operations, meeting output goals, and maintaining high quality standards.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using DMAIC, PDCA, and A3 methods.
• Collaborate with design engineering to ensure manufacturability and support new product launches.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing processes, routings, and material flow to maximize throughput.
• Manage capital and process-improvement projects with cross-functional teams.
• Support root cause analysis and PFMEA.
• Implement poke-yokes to reduce assembly errors.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
