Job summary

Graham Corporation seeks a Process Planner to develop manufacturing plans for fabrication of Graham equipment. The role interfaces with project engineering, manufacturing and quality to ensure all steps meet customer specs and that materials are available when needed.

Responsibilities include building detailed travelers from manufacturing databases, reviewing plans for completeness and efficiency, and coordinating with Supply Chain to meet ship dates.

Qualifications

• Reading technical drawings to interpret fabrication requirements.
• Understanding bill of materials and required operations.
• Experience in planning production within schedules and capacity.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, supply chain and quality.
• Strong time management and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create manufacturing build flow processes for assigned orders with input from engineering and quality.
• Adjust operation start dates to balance demand with available work center capacity.
• Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts within the master schedule.
• Notify Plant Superintendent of traveler hours exceeding estimates.
• Develop and maintain build flow templates and SOPs.
