Job summary

Graham Corporation in Batavia, NY is seeking a Project Engineer to serve as the primary technical and project management conduit between Graham and customer teams, ensuring effective communication, specification compliance, and schedule execution.

You will lead custom-engineered equipment projects from contract award through shop fabrication and delivery, coordinating internal design, quality, procurement, weld engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing to meet scope and milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent required.
• Experience at all levels will be considered.
• Preferred: MIL-STD, NAVSEA publications, and engineering calculations.
• Ability to create drawings and write technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project lifecycle between Graham and customer teams.
• Lead projects from contract award through fabrication and delivery.
• Manage schedules, submittals, and project documentation.
• Communicate status, issues, and risks to stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment with specs, scope, quality, and milestones.
• Review customer specs and applicable industry standards; support fabrication.
