Job summary

The Lead Engineer, Manufacturing Process at Celestica in Plano, TX is responsible for designing, developing, deploying and optimizing manufacturing processes to achieve quality, cost and delivery goals for Celestica and its customers.

You will design and implement new processes, develop software and tooling for complex machines, assess machine capability using DOE and statistics, and lead problem-solving across single or multi-stage production to improve manufacturability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–3 years of related experience in manufacturing/process engineering.
• Experience with design of experiments and statistical methods is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes to support customer products.
• Develop application software and tooling for complex machines and processes.
• Lead assessment of machine and process capability using DOE and statistics to optimize throughput and cost.
• Lead problem solving for single or multi-stage products and processes to improve manufacturability.
• Provide feedback to product designers on manufacturability.
