Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Manufacturing Site Engineer in Neenah, WI to lead ongoing process improvement initiatives across the manufacturing value chain, with a strong focus on capital projects and operational excellence.

This role develops and enhances manufacturing processes and product quality by studying methods, identifying opportunities, and collaborating closely with operations to implement improvement plans safely and effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Industrial Technology.
• 3–5 years of related engineering experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Experience managing capital projects, with planning and coordination with operations and contractors.
• Hands-on experience in manufacturing engineering, focused on process efficiency and quality.
• Proficiency with CAD software AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and/or ProE.
• Ability to develop and implement process documentation, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute capital projects with outages and contractors.
• Drive facility transformation including technology transfers and line optimization.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, policies, and procedures.
• Implement demand-driven strategies to enhance flexibility and responsiveness.
• Generate ideas to improve productivity, quality, cost, and delivery.
• Apply standard engineering tools and best practices across the site.
• Lead design and implementation of equipment and tooling for capital projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet quality and safety standards.
• Monitor and report effectiveness of improvements with data-driven recommendations.
