Job summary

Actalent in Milwaukee, WI is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer - Lead to shape scalable, cost-efficient manufacturing systems. You will lead a team through concept to implementation, applying DFMA, lean and Six Sigma to improve cost, quality and delivery while mentoring engineers.

This permanent, hybrid role requires 7+ years in industrial or operations engineering, a BS in IE/ME/Manufacturing, and experience with CapEx projects and NPI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field; applicable experience in lieu of degree accepted.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize end-to-end manufacturing and operational processes to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability.
• Lead a team focused on advanced time studies, line balancing, capacity modeling, and throughput optimization initiatives.
• Develop standard work, labor models, and ergonomic solutions tailored to complex manufacturing environments.
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma, and Theory of Constraints methodologies to identify and eliminate waste across operations.
• Build and maintain advanced simulation, flow, and capacity models to support data-driven decision-making.
