Job summary

Polyventive seeks an engineer to lead continuous improvement across its Northwest Georgia plants, focusing on safety, efficiency, batch processing, process design, and capital project leadership. You will conduct experiments, analyze performance, scale up pilot ideas, develop SOPs, and communicate findings to operators through executives.

A Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering and 5+ years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering (preferred).
• 5+ years in chemical plant operations with batch processing experience.
• Proven record in process/equipment design, scale-up, and capital project leadership.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
• Excellent communication and collaboration; strong quantitative and computer aptitude.
• Working knowledge of polymer chemistry; OSHA/HAZMAT/EPA knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement across plants to boost safety and efficiency.
• Analyze performance, conduct experiments, and resolve automation and process upsets.
• Execute scope, schedule, and cost-controlled projects to remove bottlenecks.
• Develop SOPs, technical reports, and presentations for operators through executives.
• Partner with Commercial, R&D, Purchasing, and Transportation on cost-out initiatives.
• Collaborate with EH&S Manager and Plant Managers on safety culture.
