Job summary

LRSolutions, LLC is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a state-of-the-art production facility that makes architectural wood doors in Wisconsin. This hands-on role reports to the Automation Engineering Manager and emphasizes solving day-to-day manufacturing problems with Operations, CI, Maintenance, and Engineering.

Candidates should have an Associate degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering and at least 3 years in manufacturing engineering in assembly, preferably wood

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Mechanical/Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering is required.
• 3+ years’ experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in assembly operations (wood products preferred).
• Self-starter able to work independently and in a team.
• Project management experience from start to finish is highly desirable.
• Capital project experience is helpful.
• Excellent communication across all levels of staff.

Responsibilities

• Solve hands-on manufacturing problems to improve day-to-day operations.
• Drive process improvements to meet KPIs.
• Develop practical solutions and ensure sustained improvements.
• Maintain strong presence on the factory floor with operators and leadership.
• Escalation resource for problems needing deep analysis.
• Coordinate efforts to plan, design, develop and validate processes.
• Improve processes and eliminate waste in key constraint areas.
• Improve safety, quality, productivity, and delivery in assigned areas.
• Develop and drive metrics with Production Teams.
