Job summary

ITW in Corona, New Mexico is seeking a manufacturing engineer to support production processes and daily operations for existing and new products. The role uses the ITW toolbox to improve quality, cost, and delivery while conforming to ISO9001.

Responsibilities include developing process instructions, designing and testing manufacturing methods, collaborating with design engineering, and leading PFMEA and Gate 5 pre-pilot activities to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical preferred).
• 2+ years manufacturing/engineering experience in relevant industries.
• Strong time management and problem solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
• Experience with SPC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify manufacturing processes and instructions (OMS).
• Provide technical support for manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering on new product design and changes.
• Lead PFMEA and Gate 5 pre-pilot activities and related reports.
• Prepare KPI reports and implement manufacturing improvements.
• Review and implement ECN changes to sustain production.
