Job summary

telstaffing is seeking a Manufacturing/Process Engineer to independently plan, conduct, and evaluate analyses for manufacturing improvements. You will develop work instructions, participate in DFx assessments, and apply Lean Six Sigma to optimize production methods and layouts. Experience with CAD/ERP tools preferred.

The role emphasizes leadership on cross‑functional projects, vendor coordination, and continuous improvement in a dynamic manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or manufacturing engineering or related field.
• 18 months manufacturing engineering, planning or related technical experience.
• Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma principles.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical studies of a complex nature and analyze manufacturing operations.
• Prepare reports with equipment recommendations and correct methods of manufacturing.
• Author work instructions to optimize manufacturing process efficiency and reduce defects.
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma principles to manufacturing methods as a team member or leader.
• Lead projects between multiple organizations with minimal supervision.
• Support all Safety, Sustainability, and Ergonomic Initiatives.
