Job summary

Global Connect Technologies is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support manufacturing operations, process improvement, and new product introduction. The role emphasizes lean methodologies, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement across production teams.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering and at least 3 years of manufacturing engineering experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, PFMEA, root-cause analysis, and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop, improve, and optimize manufacturing processes and production workflows.
• Support NPI, process development, and production launch activities.
• Perform root-cause analysis, time studies, line balancing, and capacity analysis.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Create and maintain work instructions, process documentation, PFMEA, and control plans.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to resolve manufacturing issues.
• Identify opportunities to reduce cost, waste, cycle time, and downtime.
• Support tooling, fixtures, equipment, and automation improvements.
• Monitor production KPIs and recommend corrective actions.
