Job summary

Action Target in Provo, UT is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to design, integrate, and improve manufacturing systems and processes across teams. You will focus on quality, cost, delivery, safety, and productivity while applying lean methods and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in manufacturing or engineering, 1–2 years of process improvement experience, proficiency with Creo 2.0 for 3D modeling and drawing, and strong MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or have received bachelor’s degree related to manufacturing processes or engineering.
• 1–2 years process improvement experience.
• Effectively use CAD system for 3D modeling and 2D drawings (Creo 2.0).
• Effectively use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Knowledge of engineering first principles (physics, thermodynamics, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities or changes to improve products or reduce costs using fabrication knowledge.
• Determine root causes of failures using statistical methods and recommend design changes.
• Provide technical manufacturing expertise and support.
• Incorporate new methods and processes to improve operations.
• Supervise technicians, analysts, or engineers and train staff.
• Review designs for manufacturability and optimize layouts.
